Virtuous Patience OES Chapter Home

“Who can find a Virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies”
Proverbs 31:10
The spring of 2006 proved to be an unforgettable one for 9 young women. It was at this time SiStar Jennifer Akabue, SiStar Nicolette Butler, SiStar Ticcara Cassell, SiStar Crystal Fields, SiStar Jordana Hudson, SiStar Lindsey Iles, SiStar Tamara Neal, SiStar Kentrice Pace, and SiStar Ya-Ya Smith, approached SiStar Ke’Ana Hardy about starting a Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star in the Denton, TX area. After petitioning to begin a chapter, these virtuous women waited patiently to hear good news! On February 19, 2007 these women received word of our chapter opening and were more than elated. March 3, 2007, these 9 ladies along with SiStar Hardy and SiStar Cynthia Goudeau, a SiStar who would demit from the Oklahoma Jurisdiction, became the founding members of the Virtuous Patience chapter of OES.
On September 21, 2007, Virtuous Patience initiated its first new class of women ensuring the continuation of our work. In Fort Worth, Texas, with the help of Star of Alpha #52, VP welcomed its newest members: Tiffany Albert, Sharron Bland, and Kimberly Walker.
As part of the Norris Wright Cuney Grand Chapter, under the direction of Grand Worthy Matron Martha Wooldridge and Grand Worthy Patron Robert Calloway Jr., these women dedicate themselves to a lifetime commitment of servicing our community, each other, and always ready to lend a helping hand when called upon.
As such, on June 21, 2008 in Fort Worth, Texas at the 12th Annual Grand Session for the Norris Wright Cuney Grand Chapter of Texas, Virtuous Patience received its full charter and will hence forth be known as Virtuous Patience Chapter No. 65.
Our name speaks wonders because it tells not only our story, but who we are: Virtuous Women! We are women that believe in the power of prayer and know that a PHAmily that prays together shall stay together. Lookout because these Eastern Stars are truly On the Move!
“But let Patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing” James 1:4
